The Mountain Route is the best way to observe and discover the mountainous crown of Charlevoix's meteoric crater. Between Saint-Urbain and Saint-Aimé-des-Lacs, there are several points of interest for visitors, such as the Hautes-Gorges-de-la-Rivière-Malbaie and Grands-Jardins National Parks - two gems in the Parcs Québec network. The Mountain Route also offers an entryway into the municipality of Notre-Dame-des-Monts, which is surrounded by some of the tallest peaks in the Laurentian Shield.
