Built in 1906, this century-old house was built by the town’s blacksmith, Thomas Breen. It was recognized as a historic site in 2006. Because the authenticity of the architecture and furniture has been preserved, this house is an exceptional eyewitness to the history, lifestyle and culture of the time. Walk through its beautiful garden and discover a photo exhibition on stations of the cross. Visit the church opposite the estate; it was built in 1902, which makes it the oldest church in Abitibi-Témiscamingue.
